The European Music Council is an umbrella organisation for all kinds of organisations in the music field. EMC informs us about European policies toward culture and music (subsidies and policies) as well as being a network organisation. In June they organised the The 11th European Forum on Music in Hungary. For EOFed important to get in touch with other organisations of choirs, of venues, of music academies of event organisors, music professionals and so many interesting voices from our field. The overarching topic of the forum was “Sustain Music”, not only about green policies but also about our future as orchestras. How to sustain as orchestras (in changing with the times) or in special, awful times as the musicians in Ukraine. We had a lot to discuss, many organisations to make contact with and a lot food for thought.
